About us
ImproLaBergen is a collective of 21 dance artists from the performing arts field in Bergen and Vestland. The goal of the Lab is to share artistic practices in a playful and open forum, and build a stronger relationship between professional dance artists.
Workshops are held for and by members, where choreographic ideas, research interests or artistic processes are tested using improvisation as a tool.
In addition to workshops, improLaBergen also work with a range of different art events such as pop-up shows, festivals, site-specific pieces and other multidisciplinary happenings.
Communication is key for us and through our moving bodies we share our playfulness and artistic expression.
